| Coral Coast Cristobal is the brainchild of long-term friends and business partners J. Stephen Crabtree and Michael R. Collins. J. Stephen Crabtree - Co-Partner Steve Crabtree desribes himself as a family man who, along with his wife Joan,  own and run the Careening Cay Resort in Bocas del Toro. Taking care of their beautiful five year old twins, whilst also overseeing the accommodation facilities, restaurant and gift store that form the Resort, keeps them busy and happy. Steve is the father of five children and is a proud grandfather of five. In his spare time (!) he loves to go scuba-diving, fishing and treasure-hunting. After 32 years working as a Jeweler in Georgia and Florida, Steve moved to Bocas del Toro and founded a local ReMax real estate office. He recently sold this company to pursue the development of the island land offered by CoralCoastCristobal.com in conjunction with his best friend Mike Collins. Michael R. Collins - Co-Partner Mike Collins is highly experienced businessman and entrepreneur from Columbus, Georgia. In the past Mike worked for many years as a Nissan car dealer whilst raising his five children. Now that he is retired, he has turned his attentions to helping others enjoy their own retirement and recreation time to the very fullest extent. ”I love working with people,” Mike tells us, 'but I choose the people I work with very carefully. They must be willing to participate in a mutually beneficial interaction where we can help each other; learning and growing must be a part of our work together; and most importantly of all, they must be fun!” Mike has recently completed building his own home on land based within the Coral Coast Cristobal development which he is looking forward to sharing with his family, in particular with his 13 grandchildren. His new home has facilities for storing captured rainwater, recycling waste, and for feeding solar-panel energy into the on-site electricity generators. It's a truly self-sufficient, eco-warrior's dream house! |
